We're ready for you!  As of this morning we are set up with a shipper.  They are great guys who are so worried about the care of your wine that they do a weather check before each shipment to make sure your precious cargo doesn't overheat.  We feel so fortunate to have found them and have them taking care of our wine.

Also, this month, we have been set up with a credit card processing terminal.  This means that all you need to do is enter your card info in email form(come on you all know how to do it) and we can charge your visa or mastercard.

Daughter Leslie was here with her husband's water polo team and I conned her into helping bottle 150 bottles of our COMMUNITY PRESS extra virgin olive oil.  We had the softest hands in the valley.

My sister and her husband came to help with the lavender harvest.  We debudded 4 trash bags of lavender flowers and tied untold amounts in rafters of barn to dry.  These lavender pillows can be opened at the end and used in your cooking or just keep drawstring tied for a fresh, sweet smelling bed.  Look for both of these on product info on the website.

We held our annual full moon party on August 19.  Tim Hockenberry was at the baby grand in the barn  and we howled at the full moon to a selection of moon songs.  It was a fine evening. As you might guess this little family run business keeps us stompin.

July 2005

July is weed trimming, the first of the irrigating, and readying the barrel room for the next crush. We poured wine this month for the trade at the Rutherford Dust Society's annual "Day in the Dust" at Niebaum Coppola's. It was hot and crowded, but reception to our new wine there was gratifying. It was first time experience for we new vintners with great food, wine, and fun.
