The fruit for our Merlot comes from our vineyards in heart of the Napa valley. Extended maceration enhances color, flavor and mouthfeel. Aging for 18 months in 60-gallon oak barrels adds softness and a subtle vanillin component. Cabernet Sauvignon adds structure and complexity, and enlivens the subtle texture and plum-like fruitiness which is the hallmark of fine Merlot.
